Forward Madison FC, in conjunction with Special Olympics Wisconsin, are partaking in the Unified Soccer Series for the third consecutive year. The Unified Soccer Series is the first of its kind within the United Soccer League (USL), along with Omaha, Nebraska.
The Special Olympics Unified Sports program focuses on promoting social inclusion through shared sports training and competition experiences, and joins people with and without intellectual disabilities on the same team.
Tryouts for Forward Madison’s Unified team, as well as a match schedule will be determined in the coming months.
